This is my version of Escher's sketch for the piece "Up and Down". I didn't just want to copy his image so I have created a urban and modern twist in my own style. I made this image while I was unemployed to practice and challenge my photoshop skills.

Awesome. I agree about it being slightly lighter but that's the only thing: I think it's an inspired idea & very well made.

Cheers

This is really great, I think, but it's kind of dark, at least on my monitor. Think you could brighten it up just a tad and resubmit it? I'd love to see the details more clearly.

Cleverbot: How large?
Me: As big as Ron Jeremy's.
Cleverbot: Really.
Me. No kidding.
Cleverbot: Really.

We were talking about my mustache, of course.

I like really like this atmosphere that you created here. It is an interesting twist on the original artwork and definitely deserves more views. Maybe worth submitting this image to the ~M-C-Escher-Style club?

Doubt and objectivity are essential. Without them, experience merely reinforces prejudice. Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Give a man an Icthys, and he annoys for life.
